Not-for-Profit Status

The Tai Chi for Health Community, Inc. (TCHC) is a not-for-profit Connecticut corporation founded in August, 2002, with the mission to inform and educate people about the health benefits of tai chi and tai chi for health programs.

Our association is a tax exempt, qualified charitable organization under the requirements of Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3). TCHC is eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions in accordance with Code section 170.

TCHC complies with IRS regulations for public inspection and disclosure of certain organization documents. Please direct your inquiries by mail to:

Before adopting a name change in January, 2006, TCHC was formerly the Tai Chi for Arthritis Association, Inc.

Tai Chi for Health Community (TCHC) does not share or distribute member information to third parties obtained through membership application, membership participation, or by means of TCHC web site interaction, without the members’ consent.

Certain member data is shared with associated parties to TCHC’s programs so members can access TCHC benefits and discounts.

Members are responsible for safeguarding their login username and password, and their personal information that they post or share using the TCHC web site Forum, Blog or Event listing.
